Welcome to The Arlington Inn. Where the past meets the present in picturesque Vermont…

The stately Greek Revival mansion was built in 1848 as the private home of Martin Chester Deming. In continuous operation since 1888, it is among America's landmark historical inns.

A quiet village, Arlington is between Manchester Village and the town of Bennington and convenient to the diversions that each season has to offer. Walk to golf, swimming; fly-fishing on the Battenkill River and the Norman Rockwell Exhibition. Nearby you can enjoy shopping, designer outlets, theater, antiquing, historical & art museums, hiking the long trail through the Green Mountain National Forest, canoeing along the Battenkill River, biking, horseback riding, carriage & sleigh rides, cross-country and downhill skiing.

Elegantly appointed, guest rooms with Queen or King size beds all include private baths, TV's, telephones, WiFi service and air conditioning. Many also feature fireplaces, 2 person Jacuzzi's, porches & patios. A full cooked to order American Breakfast is included each morning with all rooms. Modified American Plan is available.

Dining at The Arlington Inn is an exquisite experience. The Inn is Chef owned and enjoys a local reputation for fine dining with an extensive wine list. Romantic, candlelit dinners are served fireside with superb service.

The Estate is situated on 4 acres of country gardens; relax in our Hammock for two, or picnic on the cool forest terrace next to the Barn over looking the gazebo. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary celebrations and all special occasions are exquisite, elegant events brimming with outstanding cuisine, excellent service and romantic surroundings.

Management retreats and workshops hosted at The Arlington Inn provide relaxed, comfortable meeting arrangements and countless outside activities abound for your participants. All of the Inn & grounds offers WiFi access.
