How and where did you meet? Eddie and I met in Philly about 10 years ago.  It’s a funny story, we met through my ex-boyfriend who was Eddie’s landlord at that time.  We remained friends through several other relationships and then we were finally single at the same time, and decided to give the dating thing a try.  Best decision we ever made!!

What was the proposal like? The proposal was so unexpected and hilarious.  We all joke that he did it “Eddie style”.  We drove up from Philly to Vermont for a friend’s birthday weekend.  We were all siting on the deck of our friend’s house and Eddie walked out the screen door and tripped and fell right in front of me.  I was so concerned about him and trying to pick him up, and also wondering why no one was helping him.  I even grabbed the ring out of his hand and placed it on the tablet next to me, not realizing what I had just had in my hand.  It finally dawned on me that I had just put an engagement ring on the table, and that is when he asked me.  In front of all of our friends.  It was perfect and hysterical at the same time.  I still laugh when thinking about it.

This edgy, Victorian and gothic wedding inspiration is perfect for fall or Halloween weddings. Full of unique and creative ideas for incorporating a couple's love for creepy things in an elegant and sophisticated way. With a dark red, black, and gold color palette and featuring exotic touches like fire breathers and a six foot boa constrictor, this wedding is sure to be one that your guests will remember! The bride has a Victorian hair style and a floral necklace choker, and dramatic makeup that adds a touch of drama to her overall look. The reception features anatomically molded hands for place card holders and jaw-dropping display of cocktail magic with aromatics and fire. The dramatic uplighting and fog create a spooky atmosphere in the weathered, dark wood round barn with amazing rafter beam ceilings.
