Lovely Winter Warmth Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

Spring may be here now, but for those of you planning a winter wedding you are probably immersed in finalizing your plans for flowers, decor, and the special little details yet to come. What I am getting at is any time of the year is the right time to ooh and aah over snow-dusted floral arrangements, cozy fires, and mouth watering, rich desserts. This country style winter inspiration, coordinated by DIY Wedding Mentor and photographed by Ashley Largesse, is full of warm and cozy details. Light and airy flower designs, by The Village Green Florist Weddings & Events, in icy blues and soft greens cut through the richness of the chocolate browns and evergreens to create a lovely contrast. With a crackling fire, cupcakes towering with fluffy frosting, and hand-knit accessories, the cold of the snow seems to melt away.

Romantic Vintage Botanical Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine | Richmond Vermont | The Round Church | Spring Wedding

There's something about lace, violets, and classic cars that evoke an old-fashioned romantic feeling. Put them together in a charming historic church, that has seen its fair share of weddings over the years, and you have an enchanting, timeless style.

The Round Church, in Richmond, Vermont, is a celebrated historic landmark. With its unique shape and lush, green setting, it is a favorite wedding location. Locally grown violets, lilacs, and other delicate spring blooms are a perfect compliment to the iconic white church and a spread of delectable cookies and pastries.

A mini botanical arrangement under a glass cloche is an elegant and impressive place setting, especially when paired with a ruffled porcelain plate and gold charger. The vintage botanical look is carried through to the stationery in soft floral drawings and a sophisticated script font.

Mercedes & Mark | Montreal Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

Sometimes, wedding days go off without a hitch from start to finish, as pieces of a puzzle that fit perfectly together. However, sometimes, this so important day has a few little mishaps up it’s sleeve which turn into anecdotes that feed discussions for years to come. Marc and Mercedes’ wedding day is part of the latter. Mother Nature refused to cooperate for their outdoor, couples photos - which were attempted at a quaint and rustic barn on the way to the church - and they had to schedule a session for a later day. Fortunately, Mercedes and Mark did not mind and they were more than happy to spend the extra time with their guests. For their patience they were rewarded with a gorgeous and sunny day - and the chance to dress up again!

With the recent rise in microbreweries, and their loyal followers, it is not surprising that many couples are making their favorite beer selections a focal point of their reception. It certainly helps that Vermont boasts forty microbreweries of its own, making it number one in the nation for microbrews per capita. With so many to choose from it is easy to find something for every discerning taste.

This beer infused wedding inspiration is fun, fresh, and casual - with a good dose of romantic pink touches and vintage flair. We love the incorporation of hop buds in the tablescape and who wouldn't want a set of customized pint glasses or a growler etched with your wedding date? Julianne & Jim Maine Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

Julianne and Jim had the kind of wedding that leaves you feeling happy. Maybe it was the sunshine or the springtime flowers, or maybe it was all the beautiful country setting at a barn in Maine. Or perhaps it was Julianne and Jim themselves, their love radiating to everyone around them. Despite their frequent time apart, due to Jim's position as a captain and pilot in the US Air Force, they have the kind of closeness and connection that comes from true love and respect for one another.

Despite the forecast of 100% rain, the skies magically were blue and sunny for their outdoor ceremony. The ethereal rays of sunshine illuminating the lovely and romantic flowers that were in abundance. It was New England springtime at it's best!
