Boyden Valley Winery, in Cambridge Vermont

Boyden Winery Farm

Located in a restored 1825 carriage barn at the intersection of Route 15 and 104 in Cambridge, Vermont, Boyden Valley Winery is steeped in the culture and agricultural heritage of Vermont’s Green Mountains.

Dave and Linda Winery Boyden Farm After studying in France, Germany, and Quebec, David Boyden’s dream came to life when he opened the Boyden Valley Winery in 1996.

The winery currently produces 4,000 to 5,000 cases of wine a year distributed all across the state of Vermont. The wine can be found at farmer’s markets, local shops, grocery stores, and many high-end local restaurants.

The wine can also be purchased at our showroom where thousands of tourists visit yearly to experience David’s passion for wine making.

Visitors can sample wine, take tours and enjoy cheese plates on the terrace that overlooks one of the vineyards.

It was as a visitor that Linda Boyden met David. On a trip to Stowe from Montreal, Linda stopped to ask for directions when she saw lights on in the barn... the rest is history. After dating for almost two years they were married in the summer of 1999. Their wedding and reception were held on the family farm. Their honeymoon? They spent a romantic three weeks on a wine tour in France, of course!

In 2007, Boyden Valley Winery started their premier wine label, “Vermont Ice”.

Boyden Valley WineryThis wine is made from cold frost harvested grapes and apples. The Vermont Ice lineup consists of three different products:

Vermont Ice made from the Le Crescent grape which displays a unique balance of acidity with undertones of apricot, green apple, and pear.

Vermont Ice Red which is made from the Frontenac grape and displays a lively acidity with concentrated jam flavors of blackberry, plum, and hints of oak.

The newest addition to the premier Ice line is Vermont Ice Cider made from Macintosh, Northern Spy and Empire Apples. Barrel-aged with hints of oak and a fantastic concentrated apple flavor. The Ice wines are limited editions and are produced in batches of only 300 per year.

Vermont Ice wines make unique and special gifts for any special occasion!

Big Barn Red WineGift-Giving:
