Sarah Jean Hart
and
Eric Karandy
Donna Hart of Newbury, VT is proud to announce the engagement of her daughter Sarah Jean Hart to Eric Karandy, son of Robert and Susan Karandy of Burnt Hills, NY.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Psychology from St. Michael’s College in 2008. She is employed at Dealer Dot Com as an inside sales representative.
Eric received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking from Champlain College in 2006. He is employed as an account manager at Dealer Dot Com.
Sarah and Eric met three years ago while he was long boarding down a large hill and she almost hit him with her car. She rushed out to see if he needed to be transported to the hospital and upon asking if he was okay he muttered, “Well, I’m late for work now so you might as well give me a ride.” This happenstance meeting led to Eric asking Sarah on a date and never leaving her side. After receiving Sarah’s mother’s permission, on August 23, 2009 while pretending to investigate a plumbing problem in their Essex Junction condo, Eric, with a gracious bend of the knee proposed to Sarah.
In front of family and friends, Sarah and Eric will wed on November 27, 2010 at Saint Pius X Parish in Essex Junction, VT with a reception to follow at The Essex. Both families are thrilled they are tying the knot and wish them nothing but love and happiness as they start the next chapter of their lives together.
