But there are other customs that have been tossed to the wayside by a generation or two of brides and grooms.
Make your 21st century celebration stand out from the crowd by incorporating these ancient traditions into your wedding plans.

Personalized, Elegantly Orchestrated Weddings

photo compliments of Peak Entertainment, Inc.Our professionally trained, tuxedo attired and properly equipped DJs are dedicated to producing personalized, elegantly orchestrated weddings throughout Vermont & New Hampshire. We take a fun but professional approach, prioritizing elegance over extravagance and avoiding the "cheesy" antics for which so many DJs are infamous, thereby keeping the focus of attention on your celebration, rather than on the DJ.

Personalization: Every wedding we do is unique. From announcing to formalities and music selection, we will do everything as you wish. We can collect your information via email with our detailed questionnaire and music list. If you prefer to discuss your plans in person, we invite you to come to our office for a free consultation.

Organization: Organization of your personalized details is one of the most important aspects of a DJ's preparation. We love what we do and we do it full time, not as a weekend hobby. We're in the office every weekday answering calls and returning email. This commitment allows us to invest the necessary time to make sure every aspect of your event is well organized to your exact specifications and our high standards.

Appearance: Our business image is on the line every time we set up. Our DJs wear formal attire (unless our client prefers otherwise) and our gear is of professional grade and mounted in handsome, black road cases.

Music Flexibility: With titles from every era and genre, our library is as diverse as the crowds at the hundreds of events we do every year. Our DJs have the experience to know which songs evoke a positive crowd response and, more importantly, will adhere to your "play" lists, "do not play" lists and any music you would like to include from your personal collection.

Music Media: Mp3 files & mini-discs are created by "compressing" music files, removing 80% of the information from the original recording, while CDs provide a complete, full-size, accurate representation of the music. The difference in sound quality is very noticeable on large sound systems. DJs who prioritize quality keep their music in .wav (CD quality) format. We do. Read more about this on our Peak Entertainment's "Questions & Quick Tips" page.

Sound Quality, Reliability & Flexibility: A DJ's equipment dictates the quality of sound at your event and is indicative of the company's level of professionalism. We use only the highest quality professional-grade gear (photos and descriptions on our "Equipment" page) and we bring a complete emergency backup system to every event to protect against equipment failure. Our backup systems also allow us to do ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions all in separate locations. Dance lighting, karaoke and projectors are also available.

Same-Sex / Gay Weddings: We've done countless same-sex weddings since Vermont's pioneering Civil Union legislation (now Equal Marriage laws in both VT and NH) was enacted back in 2001. In addition to our other wedding pages, we invite our gay and lesbian clients to view our Same Sex Weddings page here.

Many DJs offer a low price but may fall short in planning, flexibility, professionalism or sound quality. We are referred and preferred by many of New England's most elegant banquet facilities because we have the professionalism to do the job right. Put our experience to work for you!
