Today, under new ownership, we invite you to "rediscover" the charm of this rebuilt 1800's barn. With the largest laminated maple dance floor in Vermont, the Old Lantern has seen a lot of dancing: Scottish Highland, line, ballroom, round and square... hundreds and hundreds of beautiful wedding receptions... holiday parties and graduations... as well as successful benefits for fire departments, schools and many other local groups.
Available seven days a week, year 'round, you can plan business meetings, seminars and retreats around the Old Lantern's spacious facilities. Located on five beautifully landscaped acres, The Old Lantern is immediately adjacent to a scenic overlook with views which are among the best in Vermont.
