Michelle’s parents were dairy farmers in Cabot and while her father passed away before they were married, it felt like an homage to him to have their wedding in Vermont. They knew they wanted a barn wedding and fell in love with the elegant and historic details of The Round Barn. It also allowed them to have the intimate, destination wedding they desired. Michelle went with a peach and sage color palette and they wanted to make sure the day reflected their love of family and their low-key personalities.
Michelle and Jared’s advice to other couples planning a wedding is: “Do your research and have a budget. Weddings add up and it’s important to know how much venues cost upfront along with all the little details that can hit your wallet when planning a long distance wedding.”
