Dayna & Brad | Dairy Barn Vermont Wedding | Vermont Bride Magazine

For their wedding, Dayna and Brad wanted the experience to be fun and lighthearted, with personal meaning behind most every aspect. Thanks to the hard work of their family, artist friends, and wedding vendors everything came together beautifully. The venue held exceptional importance to them, as it was a century old barn that Dayna's grandfather and brothers built as their first family dairy farm, milking 12 head of cows. Her father and his six siblings were born at the farm house, and her father farmed with his dad there and at the newer “big farm” his whole life. Overlooking Lake Willoughby and the mountains surrounding it makes the “Little Farm” such a perfect setting for a romantic natural wedding.

Since it had been used for storage for roughly 60 years, it was quite the undertaking to ready the barn for the wedding. The floor and loft needed to be gutted and rebuilt and it took most of the summer, and many helping hands, to complete. Now, with a new floor, polished posts and beams, fixed roof, and new windows, this gorgeous space with an amazing view made a wonderful backdrop for their wedding. They also fixed up the old milk house and renovated it into the “Milk House Bar” where drinks were served.

Kelly & Tom | Vermont National Country Club Wedding | Vermont Bride Magazine

Heavy rains threatened to make Tom and Kelly's wedding day a washout but luck was on their side. The sky opened and allowed them to take advantage of the beautiful grounds at the Vermont National Country Club. What would a wedding at the Vermont National Country Club be without a spin in a golf cart? There was even a picture-perfect sunset with gorgeous purple undertones to perfectly match the elegant purple and silver details of their celebration. We especially adore the embroidered set of ring pillows exclaiming, "His" and "Hers".

You could not have asked for a more gorgeous day than the one Karla and Miles had for their wedding at The Hildene in Manchester, Vermont. The sky was the perfect shade of blue and the sun illuminated the stunning foliage in the gardens at The Hildene, making it seem like something out of a fairytale. With stunning mountain vistas, bluebird skies, and a garden bursting with colors, it was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

Erica & James Real Wedding in Stowe | Vermont Bride Magazine

Stowe is one of those quintessential Vermont towns where the streets are lined with cute shops and adorable houses, the snow-capped mountains tower in the distance, and everyone you pass waves hello. It's not wonder that it is a favorite destination for weddings. You don't have to look far for inspiration in the natural beauty and local artisans, and you can throw a stone and hit an amazing Resort, Inn, or B & B to host your "I do's". This is one of those simply lovely Stowe weddings where everything looks effortless and carefree. Where the decor perfectly matches the seasonal flowers in a nearby field, blooming, and the bride and groom can't resist a dip in the pool (with their gown and suit on!).

Jen and Tim's Rustic Romance | Vermont Bride Magazine

When they began planning their wedding and reception, Jen and Tim knew a rustic, Vermont theme was the perfect reflection of their relationship. Tim is an arborist and a rugged outdoorsman, and Jen has the combination of beauty, charm, and skills with fishing and hunting to make her his perfect match. So it was only fitting that the celebration of their union reflected Jen and Tim’s personalities and all of the things they love to do together. Jen spent months preparing all of the adorable rustic details including handmade wooden signs, centerpieces made from wildflowers. old horseshoes and deer antlers, handmade bride and groom deer sculptures, and a wall of photographs that told the story of Jen and Tim’s lives and their relationship, from childhood through their engagement. Their love for the outdoors, and each other, was present in every detail from their outdoor ceremony to the little saplings each guest received to take home and plant.
