Samantha & Dustin's Cape Cod Wedding | Purple Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

As a young girl, Samantha had a vision of a fairytale wedding, and after meeting Dustin at her families construction company eight years ago, her dream became a reality. Although her grandfather was not able to be there in person, he passed away in 2007, he was there in spirit through his Model A pickup truck which served as a fun photo prop. Samantha also wore his gold bracelet around her ankle as her "something borrowed".

Samantha truly tried to incorporate the personalty of her loved ones into her wedding day. Instead of a traditional corsage, her mother carried a gorgeous floral purse, and the ring bearer, who has a love of trucks, carried the rings in the bed of a toy dump truck. The entire evening was the perfect reflection of Samantha's vision from childhood. From the lovely purple details, an obvious favorite, to the never-ending dancing throughout the night, their celebration will be one they will never forget.

Fall Wedding with Vibrant Red Color Palette | Vermont Bride Magazine

Aran and Michele traveled all the way from Florida to get married in the Bride’s home state, Vermont. They must have brought the sunshine with them, because the weather was just perfect. Nice and sunny to make those autumnal colors pop!  We love their, classic and timeless, red and black color palette - it is perfectly complimentary to the colors of fall.

Rustic Fall Wedding | Vermont Bride Magazine

It's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner, but soon the leaves of the green mountains will start to explode in vibrant shades or red, orange, and yellow. Autumn in Vermont is truly one of the most beautiful sights, so it is no wonder that many couples choose this time of year to have their wedding. Rustic red barns, exposed beams, candles, and festive pumpkins are just some of the elements that make this fall wedding the perfect inspiration for foliage season.

Laura and Jeremy used lanterns and votive candles to add warmth to the chilly September air, and the color palette of burnt orange, sage green, and apple red brightened the rustic, barn venue. Chinese lanterns lifting off at the end of the evening were a festive and unique alternative to the more summery sparkler send-off.

Honey Yellow and Purple Wedding Inspiration | Vermont Bride Magazine

We can't get enough of this gorgeous inspiration photo shoot from Lis Photography and Sarah Jo Willey, owner of Creative Muse Floral Design, featuring deep, luxurious purples and rich, golden honey! It is one of our favorite features from the current Summer/Fall issue of Vermont Bride Magazine (get your copy here!), but there were so many amazing photos that we knew we needed to share a few more on the blog. There are so many eye-catching details; from the amazing floral arrangements by Creative Muse, to the oh-so-chic yellow fascinator with a black veil and purple flower. The color combinations are warm and rich - a perfect combination for a late summer or fall wedding.

Following with the "Bee" theme, they cleverly used a vintage bee hive poster and some local Vermont honey for favors. Pops of yellow brighten up the saturated purples and the tablescape looks like it was meant to be sitting amongst the fallen autumn leaves. The real show stopper, though, is the delicately lace adorned bridal gown from Fiori Bridal. In an antique white, it adds a breath of fresh air to the rest of the heavy color scheme. The vintage feel is lovely with the old-fashioned feeling fascinator and the added black velvet bolero kicks the wow factor up a notch.

We love the addition of the violin and the Vermont farmhouse backdrop - it really transports you to a different, and more romantic, time period. A beautifully artistic design that captures the victorian passion and romance. To view more from this feature, pick up the Summer/Fall 2015 issue of Vermont Bride!

These stunningly enchanting images, from Lis Photography, seem like they are straight out of a fairytale. From the majestic white horse to the cherub-cheeked flower girl, it feels like you have been transported back to another time. A time where prince charmings rescued damsels in distress and pricesses were transported through golden fields in horse drawn carriages. While gazing into the ethereal background, you half expect to see wood nymphs dancing around.

Warm, cozy, crisp, vibrant - these are all words that describe Fall in Vermont. We gathered some of our favorite images from this season to inspire your Fall wedding planning!

Fall Inspiration

Fall is a gorgeous time of the year in Vermont, when the mountains get to show off their colors and the temperature cools enough for warm, knit sweaters and bonfires in the evening. Rich hues of red, orange, yellow, and brown are everywhere and the fruits from the labors of summer are harvested. It's no wonder that it is many of the locals' favorite season. Summer may have the distinction of being "wedding season", but there is something about a fall wedding in Vermont that conjurs cozy, romantic thoughts. Today, we put together some inspiring fall images to get you excited for the cooler weather.
