Theme / Color Palette...
Our color palette was blush, navy, gold, and green. Our theme was simple and elegant – a lot of our décor was driven by the natural beauty of the venue itself and the floral design with touches of gold details throughout.
The Venue...
“Sugarbush Resort was the first venue we toured and were immediately in love with. We loved the idea of having an all-in-one location where we could host our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception as well as have guests stay in the beautiful accommodations for the entire weekend. They also provide a wedding coordinator (Calli Willette) who was amazing and helped us plan start to finish and ensure the whole weekend went flawlessly.”
Why Vermont...
We were both born and raised in Vermont, so we knew we wanted to get married here! We quickly set our sights on a Vermont fall wedding, because its’s our favorite time of year and so gorgeous, especially in the mountains.

The Inspiration...
“My family has celebrated "cider weekend" since I was 1 year old. Everyone who knows me has heard me talk about it and countdown to it as that October weekend approaches every year. It is hands down my favorite weekend of the year. To me, making apple cider is the epitome of fall in Vermont and it always feels like home to me. When Mike and I first started dating he had not only never picked apples or made apple cider but he had never even been to VT! Of course I introduced to him to all three and it is one of his favorite weekends of the year now too! This year during cider weekend I got to marry Mike.”
Wedding Advice...
Everyone says to enjoy every moment because it goes by in a blink of an eye, and that's true! We were given the advice to take a moment or two to ourselves, to step away from the party and just watch everyone enjoying and relish the fact that everyone was there for us, to celebrate us and the beginning of this new adventure. We did that, and I pass along that advice whole heartedly.
